After reading Hobson, this article is quite interesting because she discusses some possible physiological dream contributors. I enjoyed the whole discussion of the in between state because I’m often aware of being in this state and too will start having mild auditory and visual hallucinations. I anticipate this state is it alerts me that sleep is near.
